Anywhoo, this is my first attempt at posting via mobile phone so we will see how it goes.

Little Jamesy is the bomb. Since discovering he has a voice he's got lots to say and he and Auntie Jenn like to have screaming matches. He usually puts me in my place. :)

And when I wasn't grooving to an old Fatboy slim dj show that was on cable, I've was knitting on my Fallen Leaves shawl.

And no, for those with no sense of humor, Baby J-Dawg did not actually get into the Bushmills so no need to complain. So yeah, I've not been working the blog at all. Have no energy for it with school going on and my poor little Ravelry thingamabob is weak too. I at least post on some boards there, which is the last thing I should be doing if I can't even keep my projects up to date. Oh well. I'll catch up when the semester is over next month. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I feel like I just gave birth...

to a biological psychology baby. Galldang the class I just finished up was *the* hardest class I've taken with the most work required. Ever. I know more about neuroscience than I ever wanted to... holy cow.

But now I'm free! Until I find out if I was accepted into one of the degree programs I applied to... (come on Northwestern State in Louisiana! You know you want to let me in! Please!!!) I am so excited at the prospect of reading normal people books and knitting again. Today is my last day at work - I took off three days at the beginning and end of the break so I'm looking forward to 21 days of nothing! Woo-hoo! And I have to get back on my knitting projects for little Baby J-Dawg! I will try to post an update once I get going on something in the next day or two.

Here is the finished Baby Kimono - pattern from Lion Brand, yarn is the new Cotton-ease in Taupe Brown and it took about a 1.25 balls for the smallest size. Really easy project and I only changed the strings to 2 stitch icord instead of the cast on/bind off called for in the pattern.

I've finished a little kimono sweater in cotton ease that I still need to get a photo of. I've got one of two booties done, a bamboo sweater and a cable vest in progress.
